How do I approach her?


So there's this girl. Her name starts with an A. She’s gorgeous, amazing personality and I'm kind of crushing. I don't know how to come at her though. How would I approach her?

Dear Anonymous,
Whenever you approach a girl you should be polite. Spark a conversation with her and find out some of her interests. You should always involve your interests in the conversation. Let her know when you two have something in common. Don’t lie to impress her; girls like it when boys can be themselves. Show her that you can have fun without trying too hard. Get to know her enough to see if she would like going out and doing something fun, or something relaxing. Maybe she likes sitting around on a Friday night laughing and playing video games, or maybe she likes going to a scary movie so you can hold her close. Every girl is different, but one thing they all have in common is that they like to be respected and enjoy a polite guy striking up an interesting conversation with them. Be spontaneous and funny. She’ll love your effort!

Dear Alexis,             This girl likes my boyfriend, she's made that obvious. She knows he has a girlfriend and continues to flirt with him. He said they're just friends but it's evident she wants more out of it. He's a really nice guy and can't be mean to her. Should I speak my mind to her? My first column!

October 7th, 2011 was the first issue of our school newspaper, and luckily for me, my column was in there! It means a lot to know that the editor liked my column and to see my words, my name, my picture in there. You're probably thinking I'm crazy to be this excited, but you would be excited too if it was your writing! This to me is like winning an award for being the best runner, except a little different. :). Anyway I  was just super excited to see my face; my name in our school paper! Let's keep this going!
