Valentine's Day questions!


    Hey everyone! Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. For the next issue of Ask Alexis I thought it would be fun to switch things up.  Ask Alexis focuses on relationships and the heart while Valentine’s Day is all about relationships and YOUR heart. In the special issue of Ask Alexis I’ll be asking you the questions instead of you asking me! For example: Ladies, what are you expecting from your valentine? Guys, do you like to be given gifts on Valentine’s Day, too? Send me your responses!

If I have learned anything in my 21 years of life, it is to NEVER take yourself for granted. Never belittle yourself to the point of emptiness and never bury yourself in so many “what ifs” that you lose sight in what is most important – you. Positivity is so important in my day to day life. Dear Alexis,             This girl likes my boyfriend, she's made that obvious. She knows he has a girlfriend and continues to flirt with him. He said they're just friends but it's evident she wants more out of it. He's a really nice guy and can't be mean to her. Should I speak my mind to her? I realize my boyfriend is absolutely adorable but that doesn't mean she can have him. He's mine. My first column!

October 7th, 2011 was the first issue of our school newspaper, and luckily for me, my column was in there! It means a lot to know that the editor liked my column and to see my words, my name, my picture in there. You're probably thinking I'm crazy to be this excited, but you would be excited too if it was your writing! This to me is like winning an award for being the best runner, except a little different. :). Anyway I  was just super excited to see my face; my name in our school paper! Let's keep this going!
