How do I make him stay?


Dear Alexis,
          I really like this boy and he likes me a lot too but he is moving far away for college. He has a few months before he moves but doesn't want to see me because of the heartbreak that follows. How do I convince him to stay?

Dear Anonymous,
          First thing; you can’t make anyone stay if they don’t want to. Second; if you really like this boy, you’ll support him and his bravery for moving away for college. It’s understandable as to why he doesn't want to see you because of the heartbreak, but you could pitch the idea about a long distance relationship. I think you should talk to him and tell him that you two should remain friends for the time he’s away; there’s no reason why you two couldn't be friends. Stay strong but don’t get wrapped up in a situation that might not be changeable. Good luck!

Dear Alexis,             This girl likes my boyfriend, she's made that obvious. She knows he has a girlfriend and continues to flirt with him. He said they're just friends but it's evident she wants more out of it. He's a really nice guy and can't be mean to her. Should I speak my mind to her? My first column!

October 7th, 2011 was the first issue of our school newspaper, and luckily for me, my column was in there! It means a lot to know that the editor liked my column and to see my words, my name, my picture in there. You're probably thinking I'm crazy to be this excited, but you would be excited too if it was your writing! This to me is like winning an award for being the best runner, except a little different. :). Anyway I  was just super excited to see my face; my name in our school paper! Let's keep this going!
