Dear Anonymous,
            For the most part age does not matter. When I am getting to know someone it is important to be aware of their age but if I’m feeling a good vibe from them, the age won’t have a huge impact on me. I’m a firm believer of love and that love can come from numerous amounts of places. Love is not racist towards anything; sex, race, age, etc.  Many people will fight me on this answer and many will agree with me. Growing up, I've been around people saying that age is just a number as to jail is just another room. I have never liked nor agreed with that comparison because I feel that age difference can make for worldly experiences. A relationship can be friendship, marriage, partners, etc. And age is no effect on either of those relationships. When you have a special connection with someone it is important to stay with that connection and see where it can take you. To me age in a relationship is the same as gender in a relationship. Many people are against same-sex couples as to many people are against age difference in a relationship. I don’t care for age, gender, or race in a relationship as long as the connection you have with that person is genuine. I've given you my answer and reasons why I support age difference in a relationship and I would encourage you to take my answer with an open mind. In the end, the answer to your question will come from inside you. Think this one through and good luck.

Dear Alexis,             This girl likes my boyfriend, she's made that obvious. She knows he has a girlfriend and continues to flirt with him. He said they're just friends but it's evident she wants more out of it. He's a really nice guy and can't be mean to her. Should I speak my mind to her? My first column!

October 7th, 2011 was the first issue of our school newspaper, and luckily for me, my column was in there! It means a lot to know that the editor liked my column and to see my words, my name, my picture in there. You're probably thinking I'm crazy to be this excited, but you would be excited too if it was your writing!
